High School

From 7th grade through to graduation, students follow a highly rigorous program that culminates in a diverse selection of advanced AP courses.

Our rigorous 7-12 program cultivates scholars prepared for top universities and AP success. We build on foundational skills to develop advanced abilities in English, Math, Science, and Humanities. The curriculum is designed for deep learning, critical thinking, and complex problem-solving. English focuses on analytical reading and persuasive writing, preparing for AP Language. Math follows a rigorous path to AP Precalculus and AP Calculus. Science emphasizes inquiry, labs, and prepares for AP Biology, Chemistry, Physics. Humanities explores history, culture, economics, government, and computer science, leading to diverse AP opportunities. This academic focus ensures students are well-equipped for college-level work, intellectual growth, and future achievements.

Curriculum

English

Our 7-12 English program cultivates sophisticated literacy and communication. Students engage with increasingly complex and diverse literary and informational texts, developing advanced reading comprehension, critical analysis, and interpretive skills. Writing instruction progresses from argumentative and expository essays to research papers, focusing on logical reasoning, evidence-based argumentation, style, and standard conventions. Public speaking, active listening, and analytical discussions are integral. The curriculum prepares students for the rigors of college-level work and explicitly builds the skills necessary for success in AP English Language and Composition, fostering incisive thinkers and articulate communicators.

Math

The 7-12 Mathematics curriculum provides a rigorous pathway to advanced quantitative reasoning and calculus. Beginning with pre-algebra and algebra foundations, students advance through geometry, algebra II, and precalculus. The program emphasizes deep conceptual understanding, problem-solving strategies, mathematical modeling, and logical argumentation. Students develop fluency in algebraic manipulation, trigonometry, and the analysis of functions. This comprehensive sequence is meticulously designed to prepare students for the challenges of AP Calculus AB and BC, equipping them with the analytical tools essential for STEM fields and beyond in their tertiary studies.

Science

Our 7-12 Science program offers in-depth exploration of scientific principles through rigorous inquiry and experimentation. Students develop sophisticated laboratory techniques, data analysis skills, and the ability to design and interpret scientific investigations in our well-equiped labs. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, scientific reasoning, and the interconnectedness of scientific disciplines. The Junior High School program provides comprehensive preparation for subsequent AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and AP Physics courses taken in High School, fostering a deep understanding of scientific principles and the process of scientific discovery. AP Computer Science Principles and Computer Science A provide advanced programming and coding opportunities.

Humanities

A comprehensive study of human societies, cultures, and thought, fostering critical understanding and global awareness. Disciplines include history, geography, government, and economics. Students throughly analyze primary and secondary sources, engage in historical analysis, explore geographical patterns, and examine economic and political systems. The curriculum emphasizes deep critical thinking, research skills, and the development of informed perspectives on complex local and global issues. This program directly prepares students for advanced study in the various AP courses offered, including World History,  Human Geography, Comparative Government and Politics, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics.
